Downton Downtown

Sunday, October 16,  2016 at 3 P.M at St. Joseph Church of Massillon

Tickets: $15/Adults, $10/Students.
 

The sounds of Downton Abbey will come alive in Downtown Massillon, as the Voices of Canton sing music inspired by the hit PBS series.  Music from the ending of the Edwardian Era and the years that followed will be interspersed with monologues that recall captivating events from the series. Join us downtown for a musical Downton Abbey.

Voices of Canton, Inc. ushers in the holiday season with Stars. Have you ever looked up into the night sky, only to stand in awe at the magnificence of these celestial ornaments? Along with festive holiday favorites, the program will feature music about the guiding qualities of stars. You won't want to miss this opportunity to celebrate the holidays with the VOCI choir and to sing with them in a holiday sing-a-long.
 

Bernstein & Bluegrass

Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 3 P.M. at the Timken Auditorium, McKinley Downtown Campus

Tickets: $15/Adults, $10/Students

Join VOCI for a celebration of American music at Bernstein & Bluegrass.  The music of quintessential American composers, including Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein and Moses Hogan, will be topped off with The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass.  The traditional liturgical genre of the Mass has been given a distinctly down-home, American flavor in this setting by Carol Barnett. Guest artists, Honeytown, a progressive bluegrass band from Kidron, OH, will be featured.

 

Imagine: A Choral Celebration of the Life of John Lennon

Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. at the Timken Auditorium, McKinley Downtown Campus

Tickets: $15/Adults, $10/Students.

A celebration in music and theater of the life of John Lennon. You will experience the rise of John Lennon from a first person point of view. From the early days of the Beatles, through the psychedelic 60's, the VOCI choir will have you humming along with songs you have known and loved for years.
